Bio

Graduated in Communications/Advertising from UFRJ in 2004, and with MBA in Digital Marketing and Online Communication from UCAM, Diego started his career working in large advertising agencies. Along his nearly nine year longpath, he worked at McCann Erickson and FCB. His work granted him an invitation to be temporally part of The Coca Cola Company’s Ad Team by the client’s request.

As from 2011, living in NYC, Diego embraced photography specializing in fashion photography, portrait and lighting at the International Center of Photography (ICP), thus changing his professional life. Upon returning to Brazil, he naturally turned to commercial photography.

His portfolio includes work focused specifically on advertising, fashion, and beauty photography for clients such as Coca-Cola, L’Oréal, Estée Lauder, Clinique, Ambev, Petrobras, O Boticário, Eudora, Avène, Granado Pharmácias, Vans, New Era, Hilton Hotels, TV Globo, P&G, SC Johnson, Tim, Claro, Sebrae, and Akzo Nobel, among many other local and global brands. Some of his work has won awards at various advertising festivals around the world, including the Cannes International Festival and El Ojo de Iberoamérica.

In addition to major brands, Diego has photographed various personalities. Ivete Sangalo, Grazi Massafera, Juliana Paes, Reynaldo Gianecchini, Marco Pigossi, Paula Lima, Giovanna Antonelli, Isabeli Fontana, André Marques, Roberta Sudbrack, Titi Muller, and Mari Saad are just a few of the names.

Since 2014, Diego is also teaching photography at Miami Ad School Brazil.

He currently resides in São Paulo.
